Dental Supply Needs

dental patient with mom - sizedDental Supply Needs – updated 2020

If you are interested in helping provide what the Dental Clinic needs, thank you!  Everything the clinic receives as a donation lowers the cash operating costs for the clinic. Here is a resource list of items that are always helpful to receive.

Please contact the CDCA for details and updated information.

Donations coming into Nicaragua must be approved by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) ahead of time, so the required paperwork must be completed and received by the CDCA via email 8 weeks before arrival (in effect since 2018). Also, prior to that, there will probably need to be many back and forth emails between you and Daniel to make sure the paperwork is correct before it is submitted to the Ministry of Health. For more information contact: He can guide you and will translate all donation information into Spanish.

All medicines must be received in Nicaragua at least one year before their expiration date.

All medicines must be in original sealed containers.

With COVID-19, the CDCA is currently receiving no delegations. Most of the supplies listed below are less expensive here in Nicaragua, and their purchase supports local dental supply stores. All cash donations are appreciated to help purchase these in-country.
